Samsung to release a smartphone with a curved screen in October

Samsung
Mobile has announced in a press event in Seoul, Korea that it will be
introducing a smartphone with a curved plastic LED (Light Emitting Diode)
screen to the South Korean market. The event was majorly to show recently
released Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear.

Apple recently unveiled its high end iPhone 5S smartphone and the gold-coloured
version has been a hit with consumers as it was out of stock long before other
colours. This eventually led to Apple requesting an increase in production rate

At last, Blackberry finds a buyer

Struggling
smartphone maker Blackberry has agreed a deal with Fairfax Financial Holdings
Limited which will see the Canadian company pulled off the stock market and
taken private. The deal to buy blackberry is worth about $4.7 billion which is
the calculated worth of the company at a perilous moment for the company.

Microsoft is back again with two tablets

At a press event in New York on the 23rd of
September, giant software company, Microsoft unveiled two tablets which are the
smaller Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2. Microsoft has previously been supplying
software to manufacturers but is now involved in making devices to house the
software it rolls out.

iPhone 5S unlocked with a fake finger

The unique
fingerprint sensor in the iPhone 5S has been made less unique after the German
Chaos Computer Club (CCC) fooled the iPhone’s Touch ID with a fake fingerprint
of the user.

Blackberry suspends download of BBM for iPhone and Android

The only
positive that was expected to come out of last week for Blackberry was the
rollout of Blackberry Messenger to iPhones and Android powered devices.
Blackberry had earlier announced a loss of about $1bn in the second quarter and its intention to retrieve 4,500 of their duties in the company.
